Baker U’s radio, TV stations win awards
Baker University’s radio and television stations received seven awards, including first place in the Best DeeJay Personality category, from the 2011 Kansas Association of Broadcasters in the annual student broadcast awards competition.
Baker, competing against universities and colleges of all sizes, was Kansas’ lone private university to be honored.
KNBU-FM 89.7, Baker’s radio station, excelled in Best DeeJay Personality, winning four of the six awards for best deejays. Michael Wissman, of Lenexa, received the top honor.
