BHS advances to fifth straight BIT title game

Baldwin — 55, Wellsville — 44
Justin Vander Tuig had a quiet 25 points for the Bulldogs as they advanced to their fifth consecutive Baldwin Invitational Tournament championship game at home Friday night.
The 6-foot-8 senior scored 13 of his 25 points from the foul line as he made 13 of 16 free throws. He led the Bulldogs to a 55-44 victory over Wellsville.
Baldwin will play Bonner Springs for the second straight year in the BIT title game. Tip off will be at 4 p.m. Bonner Springs won last year’s contest.
