Wellsville — 45, Perry-Lecompton — 28
BALDWIN CITY — Wellsville outscored Perry-Lecompton 12-2 to take a halftime lead of 28-11 as it ran away with its first-round Baldwin Invitational Tournament game. Wellsville won 45-28.
Jacob Brown led the Eagles with 11 points. Wellsville will play Baldwin at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

BALDWIN CITY — Augusta wasted no time in routing Anderson County Tuesday night in its first game of the Baldwin Invitational Tournament.
The Orioles outscored the Bulldogs 23-6 in the first quarter en route to a 71-41 victory. Brandt Patterson and Connor Carman led the Orioles with 15 points apiece.
Augusta will play Bonner Springs at 6 p.m. Friday.
