The first major snow of the winter season has caused school district officials to cancel classes for the second straight day.

USD 348 Superintendent Paul Dorathy said all of the district schools are closed Tuesday because of inclement weather. He made the announcement around 8:40 p.m Monday.

All district events scheduled for Tuesday will be postponed. Baldwin High School's basketball teams are scheduled to play at Ottawa, but those games will be rescheduled to a later date.
