Despite the disheartening news of the Douglas County United Way being short of its 2011 campaign goal, we want to report that the Baldwin City fundraising campaign exceeded its goal of $24,000 for this year. Thanks to all of you who contributed so generously to the campaign during these challenging times. This achievement is another example of the many reasons why Baldwin City is such a wonderful community.
