With a year left of high school, Mayme Marshall has already decided the direction of her future. Marshall, a soon-to-be-senior at St. Teresa Academy of Kansas City, Mo., finished her fourth performance with Broadway at Baker on July 17.

This is a homecoming of sorts for Chris Lowe. A native of Pleasant Grove, Lowe’s mother worked in Baldwin City for about 25 or 30 years and Lowe used to come to town every year for the Maple Leaf Festival.
