EUDORA — The Baldwin High School Bulldogs and Eudora Cardinals will play their final regular season football games here tonight. The kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Eudora is playing at a new location this year. The Cardinals used to call Laws Field home, but they now play at their new facility near the high school. It’s a very nice facility with a turf field, so the Bulldogs will feel like they are playing at home on the turf.

Both teams enter the game with 2-0 district records. They both beat Ottawa and Santa Fe Trail. Tonight’s winner will host a playoff game on Tuesday night, while the loser will play on the road.

Baldwin is 7-1 with its lone loss at Louisburg this fall. BHS is back to running the single wing offense, which led the Bulldogs to the state semifinals in 2007.

Eudora is 6-2 with losses to Louisburg and Paola this year. The Cardinals have beaten the Bulldogs in the previous two matchups.

Tonight’s game should be a great one between two rival schools with bragging rights and a home game on the line. Stay tuned for updates throughout the game.
