Live blog: Baldwin High football at KC Sumner
9:45 - Baldwin won 56-36 and will play at Paola next Friday.
9:09 - BHS leads 56-30 early in the fourth quarter.
8:47 - Baldwin used five minutes to take the opening possession of the second half for a touchdown. BHS leads 42-24.
8:22 - Baldwin leads 35-24 at halftime. The Bulldogs will receive the ball on the second half kickoff.
7:52 - Both teams have scored again. BHS leads 35-12 midway through the second quarter.
7:40 - Ryan Rogers ran 11 yards for his first touchdown. BHS leads 27-6 early in the second quarter.

6:40 — Tonight we are here in Kansas City, Kans., for the Class 4A regional round of the state football playoffs. Baldwin High School is playing Kansas City Sumner for the right to play next Friday in the sectional playoffs.
Both teams are 9-1 this season. Baldwin lost to undefeated Louisburg during the middle of the season. KC Sumner's only loss was its final regular season game to KC Piper.
On Tuesday, Baldwin hosted Blue Valley Southwest and won 26-7, while KC Sumner traveled to Basehor-Linwood and won 26-22 over the previously unbeaten Bobcats.
