Brown elected to KHC director board
July 1, 2010
TOPEKA – Tony Brown of Baldwin City has been elected to the Kansas Humanities Council (KHC) board of directors. Brown is a professor of liberal arts at Baker University and is the state representative for the Kansas 10th District. He joins a 22-member board of directors representing leaders from across the state.
“I share KHC’s philosophy of the importance of lifelong learning and discussion as ways to enhance community health,” said Brown. “In an era in which public debate is growing increasingly coarse, reminding ourselves of our shared heritage is all the more important.”

Tony Of what worth is this committee? So tell me how this group supports our American Heritage that is based on Christian values. Does supporting humanities in this group hold fast to your views on abortion?
