Gregory files for 10th district house seat

January 28, 2010

Baldwin City resident TerriLois Gregory filed Thursday in Topeka as a candidate for 10th District state representative. Gregory, a Republican, is seeking the post currently held by Tony Brown, D-Baldwin City.

Gregory says she stands for family values and second amendment rights. She also describes herself as a fiscal conservative.

Brown won the house seat two years ago over John Coen of Ottawa. Brown has not filed for re-election yet.

Tom Holland, D-Baldwin City, had held the position for four years prior to that, but he sought election to the senate two years ago and was successful.

Not so sure why politicians feel the need to mention stuff about family values, but I would like to hear more about her beliefs on 2nd Amendment rights.
