Police arrest man suspected of aggravated burglary

Baldwin City police arrested a man suspected of breaking into a home at around 1 p.m. Tuesday in the FireTree subdivision.
“It’s aggravated burglary,” said Police Chief Greg Neis. “A suspect broke into a house and the homeowner came home. He went running out the back and we eventually corralled him.”
Neis didn’t have any details on the man’s age or where he’s from and said the burglary in the 1000 block of FireTree is still under investigation.
“We’re processing the scene,” said Neis. “Most of the stuff he took has been recovered. We have one person in custody and don’t think anyone else was involved.”
