Eudora wins district crown over Baldwin

BALDWIN CITY — Eudora beat its rival for the second straight year and won the Class 4A district crown here Thursday. In fact, the Cardinals (7-2) rolled over Baldwin (2-7), winning 47-0 at Liston Stadium.

BHS soccer team advances past opening round, falls to Independence

Baldwin High School’s soccer team kept its season alive here Monday evening, but it didn’t last last long as it fell Tuesday to end the season. The Bulldogs won their second game of the season at the most important time.
Spring Hill crowd disrupts Bulldogs as their season ends at sub-state

A hyped-up Spring Hill volleyball team ended the Baldwin High School volleyball team’s season Saturday. The Broncos, who hosted the Class 4A sub-state tournament, beat the Bulldogs in two straight games. The Bulldogs lost 25-14 and 25-12 in the opening round of the tournament.

It’s not how one begins the season, but it’s how they finish, as the old cliché says. That couldn’t be truer than for the Baldwin High School football team. It opened the season with six straight losses. When things looked bleak, the light clicked on for BHS.
