- Both Baldwin Junior High School varsity girls’ basketball teams improved to 3-0 on the season Monday night. The Bulldogs began the Wellsville Tournament Monday with victories over host Wellsville.

- For the first time since 1996, the Baldwin High School boys’ cross country team left here without a Class 4A trophy. During that span, the Bulldogs won eight state championships, placed runner-up three times and finished third twice. The Bulldogs’created their own Kansas cross country dynasty.
