CARBONDALE — Baldwin High School’s girls’ track and field team won its Class 4A regional here, while the BHS boys’ team finished third. Both teams will be sending dozens of athletes to the state meet in Wichita next weekend.

A 7-year-old girl who was hit by a car while riding her bicycle Thursday night in Baldwin City is in stable condition, a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper said.
