Throwers, distance runners lead BHS boys track team

LOUISBURG — While the Baldwin High School boys’ distance runners might have stolen the show here last Thursday, it was two throwers that surprised everyone. In the distance events, Baldwin scored 48 of its 100.5 points. Those helped boost the Bulldogs into fourth place at the Frontier League meet.

LOUISBURG — Baldwin High School’s girls’ track and field team began and ended the Frontier League meet with gold medal races here last Thursday. BHS won two relays and one distance race en route to a runner-up finish at the league meet.
