This year’s baccalaureate sermon will be delivered by the Rev. Johan Tredoux.
Tredoux is an Afrikaner born and raised in an apartheid society in the Republic of South Africa. He came to the U.S. in his mid-20s to complete a Master of Divinity in Kansas City. Tredoux became a citizen in 2000, and he presently resides in Shawnee with his wife, Brenda. Tredoux is presently working on his Ph.D. at the University of Manchester, UK (part-time) and is the full-time Senior Pastor at Lenexa Community Covenant Church.
The Baccalaureate began in 1993. Donations will be accepted for this year’s service and for future Baccalaureates. Contributions may be made at the door, to the Baldwin High School Baccalaureate Fund at the Baldwin State Bank, or to any committee member.
