Saturday’s Community Wellness Festival is canceled
Expected bad weather has already claimed one function for Baldwin City. The Community Wellness Festival scheduled for Saturday morning has been canceled, according to Steve Rottinghaus, director of public relations at Baker University.
“The Community Wellness Festival has been canceled because of the weather,” said Rottinghaus. “It will not be rescheduled.”
Anyone who preregistered for a health screening can have their lab work completed by the end of April at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Douglas County is one of several counties in northeast Kansas that is in a winter storm watch issued by the National Weather Service in Topeka. The watch took effect Thursday night and will continue through Saturday evening.
