A. Since September of 1970. Robert was hired by Baldwin City.

Q. What’s the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?

A. Selling a thriving business, moving to Baldwin City and being a “housewife.”

Q. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

A. Be yourself.

Q. What two things would you want people to know about you?

A. That I am a really good shot with a bow and I have the tail feathers of a wild turkey on my wall to prove it.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. An archaeologist.

Q. What’s the best way for you to get away from it all?

A. Sit under the apple tree in my backyard.

Q. What’s your ideal vacation spot?

A. A cabin in the Flint Hills with a 25-mile driveway.
