October 9, 2008
Baldwin High School’s varsity volleyball squad dropped four more matches Saturday at the Wellsville Tournament.
Baldwin lost to Anderson County (25-14, 25-12), Atchison County (20-25, 25-11, 25-7), West Franklin (25-17, 25-19) and Wellsville (22-25, 25-14, 25-17).
“The girls played really well this weekend, but we didn’t pick up any wins," coach Kelly Brown said. “We had a lot of brain lapses though, where the other team ran six or seven points on us and that can't happen.”
Baldwin will next play at the De Soto Spikefest Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m.
