Baldwin High School thrashes Ottawa 35-7

OTTAWA — Baldwin High School over came four turnovers to easily defeat Ottawa 35-7 here Friday night.
Despite those turnovers, BHS had a 21-0 lead at halftime and added another 14 points in the third quarter to cruise to the win.
BHS cornerback Andy Thurlow had two interceptions to lead the Bulldog's defense that also produced four turnovers. He also caught a touchdown pass from Sam Beecher. Beecher also had two touchdown runs.
BHS improved to 4-1 with the win, while Ottawa fell to 0-5. The Bulldogs will play host to Louisburg next week.
