The eighth-annual Trevor’s Tournament and candlelight vigil will be May 10 at the ball fields near Baldwin High School.

- Like most every Kansan, we were jumping for joy Monday night with the University of Kansas’ thrilling overtime victory over Memphis in the NCAA basketball championship game.

- When future generations of school children use the baseball fields near the Baldwin Elementary School Intermediate Center, they probably won’t think about the work that went into getting the equipment there. But for those who helped in the move, it was an experience they won’t soon forget.

He is taking the sport of wrestling by storm. The Baldwin Junior High School seventh grader is dominating the Kansas scene.

- A nine-day adventure through the Costa Rican rainforest included termite tasting, old-fashioned chocolate, swimming in the Pacific Ocean and games of duck-duck-goose.
For 13 Baldwin High School students, it was one experience they won’t soon forget.
