Baldwin School District has slight enrollment increase
Enrollment in the Baldwin School District is up four students from last year and totals 1,419, according to Supt. Paul Dorothy.
The head count on Sept. 20 is the determining factor for school district enrollments and that's the number that state aid is based on. Last year, the district had 1,415 students.
"As of this moment, we're at 1,419 students," Dorathy said late Thursday afternoon. "I was hoping for more."
The Signal will have a story outlining the attendance numbers at each school, as well as other information in Thursday's edition.
