Baker University volleyball
Baker University's volleyball team continues to roll, defeating Benedictine 3-1 on Tuesday at the Collins Center for its sixth consecutive victory.
The Wildcats improved to 15-6 overall and 2-0 in the Heart of the America Athletic Conference.

four victories at tourney
Baker posted four victories at the weekend MidAmerica Nazarene volleyball tournament on Saturday.
The Wildcats (13-7) beat Kansas Wesleyan 3-2, Dana 3-0, McPherson 3-0 and Bethel 3-0.
Baker played host to Benedictine on Tuesday and will play tonight at Avila.

earn weekly honors
Three Baker University volleyball players earned regional and conference honors after the Wildcats posted a 5-0 record last week, including a 4-0 through the MidAmerica Nazarene Invitational.
Jayde Allen, a junior from Topeka, has been named the Region V and Heart of America Athletic Conference libero of the week in volleyball. She averaged 5.2 digs a game in five matches and recorded 17 service aces and 77 pass attempts with only three errors.
Alexis Pryor, a junior outside hitter from Overbrook, has been named the Region V and HAAC player of the week. She compiled 79 kills in five matches, an average of 4.9 per game. Pryor also had 20 digs.
Whitney Segrist, a junior from Lyndon, was honored as the Region V and HAAC setter of the week. She averaged 11.8 assists and 1.9 digs per game last week.
