distribute food items
Helping Hands Food Ministry of Wellsville Family Worship Center will distribute food from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Everyone should bring a utility bill with a correct address on it. Helping Hands will have a booth at Wellsville Days to accept food or donations.

Worden United Methodist Church is hosting a revival at 7 p.m. Saturday and at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. John Schull, Winterset, Iowa, will speak on "Take the Next Step."
Ives Chapel Day Circle
to have meeting
The Day Circle of Ives Chapel United Methodist Women will meet Wednesday morning at the church. The group will travel to the Native American Quilt Exhibit in Lawrence. There will be election of officers.
Lighthouse church has
cookout for teens
The Truth-N-Teens group at Lighthouse Baptist Church is hosting a cookout for area teens at 5 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Guests should bring a side dish and the church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. Area teens are welcome to attend.
Worden United Methodist Church will present a financial workshop from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 30, Oct. 7, Oct. 14 and Oct. 21. Register online at www.wordenumc.com.
Young At Heart
to travel for lunch
Young At Heart will meet at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at Lighthouse Baptist Church to travel for lunch to Austin's in Gardner. Community members are welcome to attend.
CEF needs support from
the Baldwin community
The Community Emergency Fund Board of Directors is requesting community support for the Community Emergency Fund.
The CEF has distributed about $15,000 to community members in need of food, medicine, utilities, gasoline, rent and glasses. Current balances will provide assistance for less than two months.
All money (with the exception of a few transient needs) is distributed locally. The board of directors is a volunteer group from area churches, so there is no administrative cost.
Checks made out to CEF can be taken to Baldwin State Bank or given to Donna Reed or Judy Kay. The CEF thanks everyone for their support.

A light supper is available before Wednesday night services at Light House Baptist Church. Community members are welcome to attend.
