To the editor:
I wasn't aware until recently that the downtown beautification project was going to have large protruding areas of sidewalks taking up street space, as now sticks out by the post office.
I truly think this is poor judgment to take up street space in a growing town. To be realistic, we barely have enough space not to get around the large piled up snow in the middle of the streets after a bad snowstorm.
Please rethink and redo this part of the plan, although it may be impossible now.
