Bulldogs crush Broncos 49-22
SPRING HILL -- After two three-and-outs, Baldwin High scored on its next four possessions as it put Spring Hill away early here Friday night.
Baldwin (6-2, 2-0) won the game 49-22 after the Broncos scored two late touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
"That was a really tough team to defend tonight," coach Mike Berg said. "They spread out and our guys are a little worn out. It was a hard fought win for us."
The Bulldogs rushed for five touchdown and passed for two others. Sam Beecher scored on a 39-yard run and threw a 19-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. Gabe Mason also rushed for two scores.
Broncos' quarterback Jordan Miller threw a pair of touchdowns and ran for one.
Baldwin will host Eudora Thursday for the final district game. The game will begin at 7 p.m. at Baker University's Liston Stadium. Both teams are 2-0 in district play.
