Auditions set for
Mystery Train
The auditions for the upcoming Mystery Train will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at 816 High Street at the Baldwin City Community Theatre office.
There isn't a title yet for the show, but the performance dates are Sept. 21-22 and Sept. 28-29.


Men to have
prayer breakfast
The men of Lighthouse Baptist Temple will have a prayer breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Area men are welcome to attend.


Lighthouse Temple
hosts dinner
Lighthouse Baptist Temple has a potluck dinner the last Sunday of each month following Sunday worship services. Everyone is welcome.


Clearfield -- Ives youth
schedule meeting
The Clearfield -- Ives Chapel United Methodist Youth group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Ives Chapel UM Church. Youth sixth through 12th grades are invited.


BHS cheerleaders to
host youth clinic
Baldwin High School cheerleaders will host a Youth Cheer Clinic for girls ages 4 years through fifth grade from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the south gym, Eighth and Chapel streets.
The cost of $25 includes a t-shirt. The girls will perform what they have learned at the Bash at 6:15 p.m. Aug. 31 and during the first quarter of the game. Wear shorts, t-shirt, socks, tennis shoes and no jewelry to the clinic.
