Election results for council, board are final
The final election results are in at the Douglas County Clerk's office from Tuesday's Baldwin City Council and Baldwin School Board races.
With 1,316 votes counted in the city council race, incumbent Tony Brown was first with 288 votes, followed by Ken Wagner with 249 and incumbent Ted Brecheisen Jr. with 243 to grab the three spots open. Totals for the other three candidates were incumbent Nancy Brown with 217, Kenny Niehoff with 198 and Jennifer Hayes with 121. All three precincts have been tallied.
In the at-large position seven school board race, Joshua Mihesuah won the race with 401 votes to opponent Teresa Arnold's 319. Incumbents running unopposed also received votes. Alison Bauer had 600 votes, Blaine Cone 571 and Scott Lauridsen 556. All eight precincts have been counted
