Claudine Agnes Bell

Graveside services for Claudine Agnes Greenlee Bell, 86, Wellsville, were Nov. 6 at Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin City. Mrs. Bell died Nov. 2, 2006, at Baldwin Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Nov. 19, 1919, at Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Claude and Pearl Clayton Greenlee. She attended schools in Kansas City, Kan. She worked at Sunflower Ammunition Depot in De Soto. She worked for Hallmark Cards in Lawrence for 16 years retiring Jan. 31, 1978. She worked at Baker University after retirement and later at Baldwin Healthcare Center. She was a member of Ives Chapel United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge, Baldwin City.

She married John Porter Bell Jr. Oct. 10, 1942. He died Jan. 27, 2002.

A son, Darryl D. Bell, died earlier.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth R., Wellsville, two daughters, Dorothy Ann, New Port, Ore., and Sue Drew, Grapevine, Texas; a sister, Francis Cooper, Bonner Springs; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Ives Chapel United Methodist Church and sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 64, Baldwin City, KS 66006.
