sets summer hours
The Baldwin City Public Library has announced its summer hours: Monday 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Tuesday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Wednesday 9-9; Thursday 9-5; Friday 9-5; Saturday 9 a.m.-noon.

Helping Hands
available at Wellsville
Free monthly food distribution is available from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Wellsville Family Worship Center.
Emergency help is also available. Call the church for information, (785) 883-2533.

Clearfield -- Ives youth
schedule meeting
The Clearfield - Ives Chapel United Methodist Youth group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Clearfield UM Church. Youth sixth through 12th grades are invited.

Missionary from
Argentina to speak
Ricky Freeman, a missionary from Argentina, will speak at Lighthouse Baptist Temple at 6 p.m. Sunday. Community members are welcome to attend.

RWD No. 4 to
meet Tuesday
Rural Water District No. 4, Douglas County, will have its regular meeting beginning at 7 p.m., Tuesday, in the conference room of the district office.

Ives Chapel circles
to have joint meeting
The circles of Ives Chapel United Methodist Church will meet in a combined UMW gathering at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Ives Chapel.
A covered dish dinner will be followed by the program presented by the women from the Prison Ministry in Topeka. All interested women are welcome to bring a covered dish and attend the meeting.

CMU announces
spring honor roll
Central Michigan University has announced its spring honors roll. Phillip Wagner, Baldwin City, is on the list of students who earned a grade point average of 3.5 or better. He is the son of Ken and Diane Wagner.

Fundraiser set at
Clinton Lake
Van Go Mobile Arts, an organization providing social services and arts-based vocational instruction, is hosting its third annual fundraiser from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, at Clinton Lake Marina.
