annual meeting
Rural Water District #4 will have its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 26 at Vinland Grade School.

workshop set
Heart of America Hospice is sponsoring two Advanced Care Planning Workshops from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 23 at Baldwin City Public Library and from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 24 at Vintage Park Assisted Living. attend rally

Helping Hands to
have distribution
Helping Hands, a free monthly food distribution program organized by Wellsville Family Worship Center, will distribute food from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at the church. Call (785) 883-2533 for information.

to have banquet
The ladies of Lighthouse Baptist Temple will host a Prayer Partner Banquet beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the Baker University cafe. Ladies of the community are welcome to attend.

Arch Carlson
Celebrate Arch Carlson's 80th birthday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. January 28 at the American Legion Hall. His birthday is actually Jan. 27.

Wasson named to
President's List
Erica N. Wasson, Baldwin City, was named to the President's List at Dodge City Community College. To qualify for the President's List a student must earn a grade point average of 3.8 or above and complete a minimum of 12 hours. Wasson is a freshman.
