BILLY RAY JARDON

Funeral services for Billy Ray Jardon, 64, Baldwin City, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, Baldwin City. Mr. Jardon died Dec. 2, 2006, at his home.

He was born Oct. 7, 1942, near Baldwin City. He graduated from Baldwin High School in 1960. He was a pipefitter with Local Union 763, Lawrence. He began work in Jan. 1967 and retired Oct. 31, 2004, with Local Union No. 441, Wichita.

He married Deneese Irene Schutz Nov. 7, 1970, at Baldwin City. They lived in Illinois, North Dakota and Wyoming before moving back to Baldwin City in 1984.

He was a member of the Experimental Aviation Association.

Survivors include his wife of the home; two daughters, Debbie Cotton, Flower Mound, Texas, and LaNeece Evilsizor, Baldwin City; a son, Doyle Jardon, Baldwin City; two sisters, Peggy Ford, Baldwin City, and Betty Langrell, Eudora; a brother, Bud Jardon, Baldwin City; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

His parents and a nephew died earlier.

Burial will be at Vinland Cemetery following services. Memorials may be made to the Billy Ray Jardon Memorial Fund and sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Box 64, Baldwin City, KS 66006.
