- There are a series of meetings scheduled by the Baldwin School Board to address a wide-variety of issues, three of which involve money in the wake of last week’s revelation that the district overspent the 2005-2006 budget by around $300,000.

- As the reality of a $300,000 shortfall in the Baldwin School District sinks in, reaction has started and solutions are being sought. Bottom line is, school will go on. Budgets will be tight.

- Yes, there was another waterline break in the Baker University Wetlands that supplies water to Baldwin City. But, it was not a major problem, according to City Administrator Jeff Dingman, who said it was discovered Monday morning and was fixed Monday evening.
