The event will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house, 412 Sixth Street.
The fraternity and sorority got together about 25 teams, comprised of Baker students, Kansas University students, Baker faculty, community members and members from other Greek houses on campus.
The event will feature an all-day volleyball tournament, outdoor grilling, prizes, a bake sale, music and fun.
"The event is newsworthy because a fraternity and sorority are rallying an entire campus and community together to benefit victims of domestic violence," said J.J. De Simone, president of Sigma Phi Epsilon. "In a society predominated by negative perceptions of Greek organizations, it is refreshing to see some of the groups do something positive and break away from the 'Animal House' stereotype."
Attendance is expected to be between 100 and 200 people throughout the course of the day.
