First United Methodist

to have Bible School

The Baldwin First United Methodist Church will have Bible School beginning July 18 and continuing through July 22 at the church from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

The theme of the activities will be "Serengeti Trek: Where Kids Are Wild About God's Love." For registration information, call 594-6612 or 594-2381.

FCE to meet at

Vinland church

The Vinland Family Community Education unit will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Vinland Methodist Church to make noodles.

The regular meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. following the potluck. Lola Ford will present the lesson "Old Tyme Games and Activities."

Vinland Church

hosts Bible school

Vinland Church of Christ, 702 N. 1700 Rd., will host Bible school classes from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., July 18 through July 22.

Classes are available for 2 year olds through adults. For information, call 785-594-3648.

Ives Chapel UMW to

meet for breakfast

Ives Chapel United Methodist Women will gather at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the home of Joy Uthoff for breakfast, followed by the meeting. Dolores Kalb will lead devotions.

BJHS announces

enrollment times

In an effort to try to accommodate busy parent schedules, Baldwin Junior High School is offering several enrollment options:

1) Aug. 2 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. 2) Parents may stop by the BJHS office anytime in July from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to enroll and pay fees. 3) After Aug. 2, the office will be open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for late enrollments.

Lighthouse Temple

to celebrate 10th

Lighthouse Baptist Temple will celebrate its 10th anniversary Sunday with special music and a power point presentation of the past 10 years. Services begin at 10:30 a.m. and the community is welcome to attend.
