Fairs, fairs everywhere

With the 98th Annual Vinland Fair approaching quickly, many people are beginning to sign up and prepare their acts for the talent show Thursday night. The fair, which runs August 11-13, will once again be holding its annual talent show. Event Supervisor Matt Kirby said the show is always a fun time for the participants and the audience. “It’s a way to entertain ourselves,” Kirby said. “It’s a way to see people showcase their talent. It’s always refreshing when we do realize we had a special power.”

School district enrollment shows rise
