Letters to the editor
To the editor:
The Friday night performance of "My Fatal Valentine" was another good reminder of why I like living in Baldwin. Our local theater group thoroughly entertained us with this funny murder-mystery. The Lodge was a great place for this type of audience participation dinner theater and Penny Berndt did an excellent job with the food.
To the editor:
My name is Nancy Brown, and I am running for a seat on the City Council. I have lived in Baldwin City for almost 10 years.his community has become my home, and I look forward to growing old here.
I have watched the community change in recent years. would like to have a hand in managing those changes in a way that maximizes the benefit to the city without jeopardizing the unique quality of life we've come to enjoy.
I have some knowledge of the issues we face in Baldwin City, and definite opinions based on that knowledge.owever, if I am to adequately represent my fellow citizens on the council, I need to know what issues are important to you and where you stand on those issues.
In the coming weeks, I will meet as many of you as possible, to hear your opinions.n the meantime, I hope you will feel free to contact me by phone at 594-7592 or by e-mail at Nbrown4cc@aol.com.
I look forward to hearing your concerns and opinions.
