Baldwin High School students want the option of leaving school during their lunch hour. Three BHS students presented a proposal to the Baldwin Board of Education Monday that would allow a 30-minute open lunch for freshmen through seniors on a trial basis during the fourth quarter of this school year.
Social groups meet weekly for coffee, conversation

The men and women meet at different times in different places, but the concept behind their gatherings is the same — coffee and conversation. On Wednesday mornings, a men’s group converges on The Lodge for about an hour or so to drink coffee and talk. The following day it’s the women’s turn to do the coffee drinking and talking. On Thursday mornings, a collection of women, most of them the wives of the men that meet on Wednesday, gather downtown at Espress Yourself for the weekly hour-long coffee discussions.
BHS wrestlers keep perfect league record

Once again, it has come down to the final wrestling dual of the season as the Baldwin High School Bulldogs (7-0 in league), the Paola Panthers (6-0) and the Eudora Cardinals (6-1) battle it out for the honor of being named the Frontier League champions.
Bulldog seniors pave way past Prairie View

It was a Senior Recognition Night to remember for Baldwin High School’s trio of soon-to-be graduates and the underclassmen joined in as the Bulldogs jelled solid for the first time this year in a 59-49 win over Prairie View Friday.

BHS girls grab 11th straight win
February 12, 2003
It was expected to be a tough battle between the Baldwin High School and Prairie View girls for King and Queen of Courts night Friday. It wasn’t. The Bulldogs pounded PV’s Buffaloes 72-49 to chalk up their 11th straight win.
