4-H'ers enjoy

Bromelsick party

Fun, food and friends is what 4-H members and the Boy and Girl Scouts enjoyed on Dec. 20 at the Bromelsick Christmas Party. This annual party is sponsored by the late Alfred Bromelsick and every year boys and girls come together to celebrate the season with songs and a special performance. The St. Nicholas String Band led the groups in Christmas carols and kids were greeted by Santa Claus.

After caroling a Russian musician named Sergie taught the kids about Russian music, dances and cultural differences. During the performance six boys and girls were picked out of the audience and were taught how to do the traditional Russian dance. After Sergie's performance kids were sent home with candy for them to enjoy.
