JOYCE ANN HALL
Funeral services for Joyce Ann Hall, 63, Baldwin City, were Friday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Baldwin City. Mrs. Hall died Aug. 18, 2003, at her home.
She was born Oct. 18, 1939, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of James and Dovie (Green) McQueen. She attended grade school and East High School in Kansas City, Mo.
She married Manford Hall Aug. 21, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo. They moved to Lawrence in 1967, where they lived three years before moving to Baldwin City in 1970. She worked for Baker University as a cook for more than 20 years before retiring in 1992 for health reasons.
Survivors include her husband, Manford, of the home; three daughters, Linda Hall, Lawrence, Karen Hall, Eudora, Becky Hall, Baldwin City; one son, Donald Hall, Baldwin City; two grandsons, one great granddaughter; three sisters, Ruby Folsom, Kansas City, Pat Gentry, Odessa, Mo., Jean Hicks, Independence, Mo.; one brother, Bob McQueen, Kansas City, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

ARLEY O. FLORY
Services for Arley O. Flory, 88, Baldwin City, will be today at 10 a.m. at the Old German Baptist Church in southwest Douglas County. Mr. Flory died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, at Baldwin Care Center.
He was born Sept. 9, 1914, at Pleasant Grove, the son of Elmer L. and Mary Ellen (Montgomery) Flory. He attended grade school at Pleasant Grove. He was a stockman and farmer and worked for Rural Water District No. 2 for 20 years. He was a member of the Old German Baptist Church.
He married Dorothea Elizabeth Schwary Sept. 9, 1938, at Fairview, Mo. She died July 25, 2002.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Flory, and his wife, Mary, Lawrence, and a daughter, Darlene Ann Bard, and her husband, John, Olathe, six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
