ETHEL MABLE KALB
Funeral services for Ethel Mable Kalb, 86, Baldwin City, were Monday at Ives Chapel United Methodist Church, Baldwin City. Mrs. Kalb died Aug. 6, 2003, at Vintage Park, Baldwin City.
She was born April 20, 1917, in the Clearfield Community, the daughter of Albert and Olive (Vitt) Edler. She attended Baldwin schools.
She married Glenn Kalb March 15, 1949, in Wellsville. He died January 30, 2002.
Mrs. Kalb was a homemaker and a member of Ives Chapel United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and a member of Black Jack Ladies Club for 35 years.
Survivors include a son, Kermit Kalb and his wife, Margaret, Wellsville; a daughter, Glenna McKinney, and her husband, Mike, Perry, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son and a brother, Joe Edler.
Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin. Memorials may be made to Ives Chapel UMC and sent in care of Wilson's, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
VIVIAN B. WATSON
Graveside services for Vivian B. Watson, 92, Baldwin City, will be today at the South Park Cemetery, Roswell, N.M. Mrs. Watson died Aug. 10, 2003, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 16, 1911, at Elida, N.M., the daughter of A.J. and Blanche Bell (Lefler) Evans.
She was preceded in death by two daughters.
Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Cummins, Baldwin City, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
