Holiday lights contest winners announced

The Baldwin City Recreation Commission has announced the winners of the Annual Holiday Lights' Contest. Participants decorated their homes, driveways and trees. Judging took place the weekend of Dec. 14 with prizes awarded to one house in each of the four districts.

The winner of the first district is Don Allis, 1633 N. 600 Rd. District one is in town, west of Sixth Street and north of Elm Street, and out of city limits, west of Douglas County Road 1055 and north of U.S. Highway 56.

The winners of the second district are Steve and Alison Bauer,1315 Maple Leaf Ct. District two is in town east of Sixth Street and north of Elm Street, and out of city limits, east of County Road 1055 and north of Highway 56.

The winner of the third district is Don Towns, 1605 Elkhorn. District three is in town, south of Elm Street and west of Sixth Street, and out of city limits west of County Road 1055 and south of Highway 56.

The winners of the fourth district are Howard and Sharon Knox, 920 Fourth St. District four is in town, south of Elm Street, including Santa Fe Drive, and east of Sixth Street and out of city limits, east of County Road 1055 and south of Highway 56.
