BHS tennis smashes opponents

It has been total domination for the Baldwin High School girls tennis team in the early going. The squad has been smashing opponents left and right so far. At its first meet of the season, the team pulled off one of the hardest things to do in tennis the Bulldogs swept an entire tournament, getting first in every division.
Mixed bag for BHS volleyball

The Baldwin High School volleyball team kicked off a promising season with a 3-0 start in Eudora. The Bulldogs took part in a quad at Eudora as they swept the competition which included Eudora, Basehor-Linwood and Bonner Springs. “We definitely have the potential to play with anyone right now,” said junior Katie Martin.
BHS girls fourth at Wamego

The Baldwin High School girls cross country team faced a challenging meet on Saturday at the tough Wamego Invitational. This competition is often considered an early season state-level event, with many of the top teams in attendance.
BHS boys win Wamego meet

Every morning since the middle of August, the Baldwin High School cross country team has met at 6:30 a.m. to practice. This isn’t their only practice either, after school they once again meet. For the past month these dedicated runners have gotten back into mode and are ready to start sweeping the meets. Saturday the Bulldogs proved this at the Wamego Invitational. Old school records were broken and new runners proved themselves worthy of the BHS cross country legacy.
