Vinland celebrates
Grandparents' Day

54 students and 76 adults will share lunch today at Vinland Elementary School at 11:15 and noon celebrating Grandparents' Day.

Vineyard named
Citizen of the Week

Josh Vineyard has been named Citizen of the Week at Baldwin Elementary School. Vineyard, 10, is in Kathy Dorsey's fifth grade class. His parents are Jim and Julie and his brother is Daniel. His friends include Ryan, Isaac, Dustin and Connor. His hobbies are playing basketball, football and on the trampoline.

Chapter CK of P.E.O.
has meeting

Chapter CK of P.E.O. met at the home of Becky Hayes assisted by Mildred Allen and Alice Anne Russell. After refreshments were served, a short business meeting was held. Betty Simunac gave a memorial in memory of Irene Murphy. Sharon Gutschenritter and Barbara Henre provided the program. The next meeting will be Nov. 27 at the home of Kelli Farha at 7:30 p.m.

Ives Chapel to have
Nativity display

The evening circle ladies of Ives Chapel UMC will be hosting its annual nativity display Sunday, Dec. 2 at Stacy's Dance Studio, downtown Baldwin, in conjunction with the Chamber's Christmas Parade and Open House. Over 70 nativities were on display last year. The display will be from 5-7:30 p.m. Anyone who would like to share their nativity may contact Alice Gurley, 594-6588 or Gail Guenther, 594-3590.
