May 16, 2001

On Saturday, BHS will have commencement exercises at Liston Stadium at 11 a.m. Just over 100 students will graduate and the commencement speaker is Amy Wintermantel. If it rains Saturday, graduation will be moved to the Baldwin Junior High School gym, beginning at 2 p.m.

On Sunday, Baker will conduct graduation ceremonies for 400 undergraduate, graduate and nursing degree candidates. The College of Arts and Sciences ceremony will be at 1 p.m. at the Collins Center and the School of Professional and Graduate Studies and the School of Nursing ceremony will be at 4:30 p.m., also at the Collins Center.

James L. Spigarelli, Ph.D., president and CEO of Midwest Research Institute in Kansas City and Kansas State Senator David Adkins will be speakers for the events.
