ETHEL LUCILLE MALICKY

Memorial services for Ethel Lucille Malicky, 91, Baldwin City, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, Baldwin City. Mrs. Malicky died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at the Baldwin Care Center.

She was born on a farm near Wymore, Neb., in 1905, the daughter of W.I. Reed and Addie (Clayton) Reed. She attended school at Beatrice, Neb. and graduated from Peru State Teachers College and Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, with a degree in Home Economics and a teaching certificate.

Mrs. Malicky is survived by her husband, George, of 68 years, Baldwin City, three children, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Baldwin First United Methodist Church and sent in care of the Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, PO Box 64, Baldwin City, KS 66006.
