Four Baker players to all-star football game

Four Baker University football players have been selected to play in the Heartland Classic All-Star Game April 29. The game matches all-stars from the Heart of America Athletic Conference, of which Baker is a member, against the Nebraska-Iowa Athletic Conference All-Star Team.

Bailey Grant, a junior defensive back from Oakland, Calif., was one of two Baker defensive players to be selected to the team. Darren Hunt, a junior defensive lineman from Kansas City, Mo., also was selected.

Senior wide receiver Paul Thompson from Placentia, Calif., and junior lineman Tony Hein from Newton were the two offensive selections from Baker.

The teams will play at 7:30 p.m. April 29 at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo.
