Baker basketball season comes to a close

The basketball season came to an end for Baker University last week in the Heart of America Athletic Conference playoffs. The BU men won their first game, but lost their second. The BU women lost in the opening round.
Baker baseball squad opens season

The Baker University baseball team opened the season over the weekend with four games in Oklahoma, but is really looking forward to the home opener Saturday.
Baker track athletes break records

The Baker University indoor track teams competed Feb. 18-19 at Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa, in the Heart of America Athletic Conference indoor meet. The teams set three new school records and one conference record. Liesel Kirk was named the conference’s Most Valuable Women’s Athlete and Coach Matt Candrl was voted conference Women’s Coach of the Year.
Baldwin Kid Wrestlers compete at Ottawa

While their high school counterparts were busy with the State Wrestling Tournament in Wichita over the weekend, the Baldwin Kids Wrestling team competed in the Ottawa Open Saturday.
