The Baldwin 7 and 8 All-Star Coach-Pitch Baseball Team battled the heat and the opposition a week ago Saturday to win the Wellsville All-Star Tournament.

Besides Baldwin, the tournament featured teams from Wellsville, Eudora and Spring Hill. The second game paired Baldwin versus Eudora in an extra inning affair, with Eudora squeezing by 16-15 in its last at bat.

Other tournament highlights included Braden Phillips winning the base running contest and Justin Vander Tuig taking third in the home run hitting contest.
