Baker records fall in relay romp

With athletes turning in school records and national qualifying marks, the Baker University track teams made Saturday’s Baker Relays count. For the women, it meant a team title and the men finished fourth.
Baker softball team wins three in tournament

The Baker University softball team finished with a 3-2 record at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Division Tournament Saturday at the Johnson County Complex.
BHS takes tournament roller coaster ride

Baldwin High School’s softball team rode the roller coaster last week at a “semi” tournament in Paola. The Bulldogs thumped Wellsville 9-0 to advance to the finals where they fell 9-0 to Blue Valley North.
Hinton leads wrestlers

Noonans pace BHS tracksters

It was another big day for the Noonans at the K.T. Woodman Track meet here Friday. Matt Noonan won both the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs and Megan Noonan was first in the 3,200 and second in the 1,600 for Baldwin High School.
